November 19, 1863 — Lincoln stood on the fields of Gettysburg to deliver just 272 words that redefined America. From tragedy came a timeless call for unity, equality, and a nation ‘of the people, by the people, for the people.’ 🇺🇸 #GettysburgAddress #AmericanHistory#sora #aigenerated #fyp

The Gettysburg Address was delivered by President Abraham Lincoln on November 19, 1863, during the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery after one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. In just 272 words, Lincoln honored the fallen and redefined the war’s purpose — not only to preserve the Union, but to ensure that the nation would experience a “new birth of freedom” based on equality ...

Reviews Summary

One Lincoln offers a dining experience in a historically charming setting with a modern American comfort food menu. Diners frequently praise the signature Crab Mac and Cheese and the updated cocktail menu, alongside friendly and attentive service. However, some guests find the prices high for the quality, with occasional complaints about bland or overcooked dishes.

"We were pleasantly surprised to find a good vegan option for our son, and great food for the rest of us too. Our server was fantastic and I can’t recommend the crab Mac and cheese enough…. So good!"

"The patio is lovely and shaded, perfect for brunch. We came with two kids, and the kids’ menu was simple and kid-friendly. Service was a bit slow at first, but our server was friendly and checked in often once drinks and food arrived. We originally planned to eat up the street but stumbled on this spot with no wait, so we stayed. The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but the patio ambiance really made the experience enjoyable. A solid choice for a relaxed, casual brunch."

"This was our first visit to Gettysburg. We are in town for a work conference. Our first night we were looking for a restaurant with a variety of cuisines. One Lincoln fit the bill.
Located in the center of downtown situated on the roundabout, it is close to other shops, bars/restaurants and even a movie theater. There is also a bar connected to the restaurant and hotel. Only street parking is available and the meter maid is checking between 8am -8pm.
We visited on the last Monday night in July. The weather was fair so we dined outside and so glad we did. We were able to hear some history of the Gettysburg hotel from the guide leading a walking tour group.
Food selection was great. I ordered the Fruit and nut salad and it was truly refreshing. I noticed it did not have the goat cheese added when I received my meal. I informed our waitress of this and she gladly returned with a side dish of goat cheese. My partner ordered a crab Mac and cheese which he enjoyed.
Our waitress Betsy is a local and was very friendly and hospitable. We look forward to returning again this week for breakfast and lunch/dinner."

Spend a Weekend Exploring Gettysburg's Culinary Scene

One Lincoln stood out to me from the very first time I began to do research on where to eat while in town, and I would be remiss if I didn’t make time for it. The interior of the restaurant reminded me of something I would see in a much larger city, and the food was no different. From lobster-stuffed scallops to crab mac and cheese, everything I had was beyond delicious, and I couldn’t think of a better place to close out my short and sweet trip.
