Reviews Summary

Gettysburg Eddie's is a beloved casual American restaurant and sports bar known for its generous portions and lively, baseball-themed atmosphere. Diners rave about the flavorful wings, substantial club sandwiches, and overall value. While the food is generally well-received, some find certain dishes could use a bit more flavor, and seating can be tight for larger groups.

"Absolute great food. There have a separate menu to show allergen and alternatives for their menu, the cocktails aren't heavy on the syrups, and the food is delicious. Hole-in-the-wall kinda joint and it serves up that vibe nicely. I got the club sandwich (swapped tomato for onion) and my mom got the portabella burger with salad wrap since she can't have meat or gluten; at the end of the meal she didn't have any leftovers. The coleslaw made me the most excited, mainly because it's not mayo heavy and only needed a little bit of pepper to get it perfect perfect. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a great place to eat."

Felicia Hardee

"Neat little bar and grill kind of place. Parking in the back with a door in between the buildings into the bar. Front entrance into the dining area. The blacked chicken was incredible, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice/heat to make it perfect on tacos. The portions were great and the lettuce and other ingredients were fresh! The price was very affordable too."

William Merritt

"Came here for nostalgia sake and when we arrived, it definitely had an uplift from when we last visited back in 2019. The menu changed too which made us nervous but the food we ordered was soooooo good! Highly recommend for a great meal."

How to Visit Gettysburg With Kids| Pennsylvania

My kids’ interest picked up when we stopped by Gettysburg Eddie’s, an eatery dedicated to the baseball player Edward Stewart Plank who was born locally and played for Gettysburg College. It was nice to enjoy a quick bite while the kids studied the memorabilia on the walls. Later during our stay we dined at The Dobbin House and I would recommend adding it to your visit as well!.
