Located on the second floor, all you have to do is simply climb the steps (or take the elevator) up to see a wonderful view of Lake Como and Galveston Bay. The eatery is only open for lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but you can dine in for a sunset dinner throughout the week. Technically a "new" establishment, though not new to Galveston, The Waterman Restaurant was destroyed in 2008 by Hurricane Ike and reopened last year much to the relief of many loyal regulars. It has retained its lovely waterfront views and the food has reportedly improved; rave reviews are prompting me to try the tequila shrimp and amandine snapper with lump crabmeat.

Walking into Waterman's Restaurant, I couldn't help but be taken aback by its beautiful venue. The restaurant overlooks the stunning coast of Galveston, offering breathtaking views that perfectly complemented the seafood feast I was about to indulge in. As I made my way to the buffet, I couldn't help but notice the accommodating staff.

For visitors looking for outdoor dining, it doesn’t get better than this marina-side eatery. Some guests even arrive by boat. Located 15 minutes west of Downtown, the restaurant boasts rich interiors featuring salvaged antique wood and updated luxuries like comfortable upholstered chairs and marble tabletops.

As I entered Waterman's Restaurant, I was immediately struck by the charming ambiance and coastal vibes. The outdoor seating area provided a perfect view of the bustling waterfront. The menu boasted a delectable selection of seafood delicacies, with each dish meticulously prepared to perfection.

This historic Galveston restaurant offers delicious seafood dishes and stunning views of the Galveston Harbor. They also feature a dog-friendly patio, perfect for enjoying a scenic meal with your furry companion. Weekends and evenings, especially during peak tourist season, can get very crowded.

Waterman’s Restaurant is another place with a lot of Galveston regulars. The unique, indoor-outdoor restaurant with three levels is located on Lake Como, which has a bay view and is a stone’s throw from the golf courses of the Galveston Country Club. There are many ways to reel in dinner here.

Next on our list is Waterman’s, a nice restaurant that offers some of the best food in the entire city. You can’t miss their Shrimp Beso with jalapeno cheese, smoked bacon, and a homemade sauce. Other popular dishes include the Texas-style fish with jumbo lump crab meat.

Waterman’s Restaurant in Galveston is located about 10 minutes west of the hustle and bustle of the Seawall. You’ll find a calm peaceful spot right on West Galveston Bay. This is a three-story building with good food and great views.
