Reviews Summary

Woerner Cafe + Catering generally receives praise for its delicious food, generous portions, and unique atmosphere that combines a cafe with an antique store. Many reviewers highlight specific dishes like salads and sandwiches. However, some diners have reported inconsistent or poor service, particularly during busy periods or close to closing time, which detracts from the overall positive experience for a few customers.

"We came here for brunch. It is a very spacious family friendly restaurant. It is also an antique store, bakery and gift shop. Every dish we had was delicious. Considering we were a large party, we were not only greeted but also served perfectly. We will definitely be coming back!"

Amy De Leon

"The service was "ok" but we don't require much either. The food was amazing and huge portions. My daughter and I could have split the BLAT sandwich and it was packed full of turkey and bacon. But we took the rest to the hotel and had a delicious late night snack. The flavors were so tasty. We will be back to try something else the next time we are in town. The little shop is cute too"

Ericka Trinidad

"My wife and I are locals who have eaten at the previous location for this business many times. Was letting everyone else crowd the doors at first opening of this location. Nothing beats the ambiance of the original, but this was well done. Food, wife, and I both had the daily special- meatloaf with mashed potatoes (skin on) and gravy,as well as fresh green beans. Yummy! Coconut cream pie for dessert. Will try again. New,young, waitress. Hope she gets better! Tips are crucial!"

Where To Eat & Drink In Fredericksburg - Austin

Woerner Cafe is a casual American breakfast and lunch spot just a few blocks southwest of Main Street. Owned by the same group behind Sunset Grill and Belly Up Brew Pub, Woerner Cafe is a reliable spot for whipped-cream-topped buttermilk waffles, breakfast sandwiches, lattes, your typical lunch fare, and a revolving selection of baked goods and desserts. Though the spacious warehouse lacks the intimacy and decor of other restaurants on our list, the cafe makes up for it in ingredients, flavor, and service.

Located inside the Woerner Feed Store in the heart of the Hill Country wine region, this restaurant has it all: a delightful breakfast and lunch menu, indoor and outdoor seating, a full espresso bar, local wine, bottled beer, and creative plates made with local produce. High ceilings, string lights, and walls covered with art create a trendy atmosphere that contrasts the warehouse’s rustic feel. Breakfast at Woerner Warehouse is served Monday through Saturday, and features bagel sandwiches, five kinds of avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and croissants.

A Food Guide to Fredericksburg, TX

Woerner's," as my family calls it, is in an old building that once housed a feed store called "Woerner Feed Store." Today, you can eat amazing pizza (not your typical pizza though, more gourmet), a panini, a sandwich, salad, or soup in the rustic building. While you're waiting for your food, you can even do some shopping in the store section of the warehouse!. My favorite order: either the California BBQ Chicken Pizza or a Sonoma chicken sandwich with a salad or fruit

Everything is baked on-site, and gluten-free breads are also available.

Tied for 11th: 5 more Fredericksburg restaurants to love

It wasn’t that long ago that Woerner Warehouse Cafe operated out of a much more rustic warehouse, the old Woerner Feed Store a quarter-mile north on Lincoln Street. The new space is still big enough to house the cafe and an antiques store, but it’s a more modern, industrial, urban-style kind of warehouse. What hasn’t changed is a bakery-centered menu that favors sandwiches, pizza, quiches and pies, backed up by a full coffee, wine and cocktail bar.
