"Everything in here is dated except the prices. The steak was good but I couldn’t swallow the price. Don’t ask for extra bread it cost $10 bucks. I barely saw our waitress, but on the upside her tip was automatically added. I’d pass on the salad…it just wasn’t good. I’m not trying to be rude it’s just that my experience was not worth almost $300. Oh and by the way We. Shared. Meals. I know these are trying times but my God. Just pass on this place. (Ordered 3 meals)"

"The quality of the food and service has gone down over the years. Ordered the pork chop and when it was still raw in the middle, the waitress told me they were cooked to medium rare. I asked if that was even safe for pork and she had an attitude the rest of the night. We usually eat here every time we go to Fredericksburg, but won’t ever be coming back."

Some of my favourite German restaurants in Fredericksburg are Der Lindenbaum, The Auslander and Friedhelm’s Bavarian Inn. Otto’s German Bistro is a popular place – I’ve tried to go there twice but each time the waitlist was at least an hour long!

Good German food there, Auslander, Friedhelms, Rathskellers. Fredricksburg Brewing Co is also pretty good. Last time I was in fburg I had the Zwiebelschnitzel(fried pork cutlet with sauteed onions and gravy) at Friedhelms and was excellent.
