Reviews Summary

Rodeo Goat is celebrated for its incredibly inventive and delicious burgers, complemented by an extensive craft beer selection. While many praise the unique flavor combinations and fun atmosphere, some diners find the service can be slow, and parking can be a challenge during peak times.

"After a long walk at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, we need to rest and eat something that will fill us up but won't make us too tired for the rest of the day. Just a short walk from the garden, I had written in my travel notes about a place that specializes in hamburgers. We drive to it and take advantage of the large private parking area available to customers.
After a few minutes we are already seated with menu in hand.
The list of burgers is so tempting that I can't decide what to choose. I ask the waitress for help and decide to order the "Whiskey Burger" (whiskey-infused cheddar, candied bacon, blackberry sauce, lettuce, whole-grain mustard) with a side of "Texas Caviar" and an "IPA" beer to go with it.
My wife usually orders a salad and adds chicken to her Caesar salad.
The burger is delicious. I cook it according to my own preferences, and the salty and sweet flavors make it very tasty (I could eat a pound of caramelized bacon!!!). The Texas Caviar has the perfect amount of acidity to help cleanse the palate. That's perfect!
My wife's Avocado Cesar was hearty and rich with well-cooked chicken and its sauce that tied all the ingredients together (my wife couldn't finish it, and I had to finish it).
The service deserves a special mention. The girl who was very nice, smiling, and helpful gave us great advice. The account is completely fine."

"First time trying Rodeo Goat and it was great! Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the Dad bod Burger, Whiskey Burger, Nanny Goat Burger, and the Cheese Fries Surprise. The Dad bod was yummy with the fried Mac and cheese on top. The whiskey burger was also pretty good. I didn’t get to try the Nanny Goat, but I’m sure that was pretty tasty as well, since all of their burgers are juicy and flavorful. The cheese fries were really cheesy and had good flavor with the chili and brisket on the bottom. A little on the spicy side, if you’re into that. Overall, a really nice place to eat at if you’re looking for good food.
Oh and goat balls were also pretty tasty if you’re into Brie on the sweet side."

"First time here, and it didn’t disappoint! I tried the Bodacious Burger — the patty was nice and juicy, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The jalapeño mayo added a great kick of flavor. I also ordered a side of hand-punched fries, and the portion was big enough for me and my wife to share. I liked that the fries came with both ranch and ketchup.
My wife also really enjoyed her burger. We tried their cocktails too — they were a hit! It’s a little on the spendy side, but definitely worth it. We’ll be back!"

Best nightlife spots in Fort Worth? (Dallas, Denton: houses, movie theater, university) - Texas (TX)

Some of the best burgers in the world are at Rodeo Goat, just south of 7th. There's a cool little place for live music, Lola's Saloon, that would perhaps be more appropriate on Magnolia but you can see a lot of the best local (from FW, Denton or Dallas) bands there like Whiskey Folk Ramblers, Calhoun and Quaker City Nighthawks. West 7th is convenient to the Cultural District where all the museums are, like the Modern, the Kimbell, the Science Museum, Amon Carter, and the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

Tried and True: Fort Worth's Most Enduring (And Endearing) Restaurants

Shannon Wynne’s sense of humor is on full display at his original Rodeo Goat location in the West Seventh district, a burger joint that indulges in excesses. You might want to check your expectations if you’re imagining a burger with the traditional lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion toppings, and condiments limited to mustard and ketchup. Rodeo Goat takes the you-can-literally-put-anything-between-two-slices-of-bread approach, and its creative concoctions have made it a local gem.
