"If you want an upscale meal on Estero Island, visit South Beach Grille. They started us off with 4 varieties of freshly baked bread and a house vinaigrette salad or soup of the day. C had seafood chowder, I had cauliflower. They were both delicious and filling. There are daily specials which will not disappoint. We had such a great meal we visited again! Our new friend Bill took care of us on both visits. I highly recommend requesting Bill for a great dining experience. Extra touches like the jalapeno honey drizzle on the grouper or the care taken in stuffing the crab ravioli pillows with love make this our new go to on Estero Island. Full bar with drink specialties. We tasted rabbithole, eagle rare, old fashioned, Manhattan, next level, Cosmo, and Moscow mule. I could go on and on... OH! Have the homemade key lime tart for dessert! We took ours to go. So glad we did!"

"We almost didn’t go here and we are so glad we did! First thing I will say is make a reservation if you can! We went and the wait was going to be 45 minutes so we said never mind and left. We went to our car and called another local restaurant and the wait was going to be exactly the same so thankfully the host at South Beach Grille handed us a card and said “call if you change your mind”. So we did and it was a wonderful experience. My husband and I are here on vacation celebrating our 12 year wedding anniversary and we just wanted to go where the wind took us and not make a reservation (in case you’re reading this wondering why we didn’t make a reservation). My husband ordered the oysters to start and I ordered the roasted pear salad. My husband’s main course was the sirloin and shrimp and I had the roasted statler chicken breast. We had the creme brûlée for dessert and it had a citrus flair. Oh my goodness so divine! Highly recommend getting that for dessert!"

"I am writing this review to save others a trip. The good: apps, soup, salad, drinks, bread and crab legs. The bad: remaining entrees were terrible, including sides and dessert. The bad meals we had were sirloin, scallops, swordfish with lobster ravioli. None were good. Just don’t bother. Didn’t get pics of the apps which were the only good part of our meals. Pics are pretty but food was awful."

Head indoors and the dining room is surprisingly chic, set with crisp white tablecloths and wine glasses with delicate stems.
