I always stop in here for a bowl of clam chowder when I'm in town. It's nice and thick and has chunks of clam in it that you can actually chew on. This is where my late husband took me on our very first date.

I was tempted by the soft serve ice cream cones at Ivars, but it was still a bit too early. I made a note to get one on our return trip home.
