"Stopped here before heading into Rocky Mountains national park. We had the Italian Sandwich. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Served on incredible focaccia. INCREDIBLE! We also saw the chocolate chip cookies sitting inside and got one…oh my god. You must get one! Loved our quick stop here! Support this local business!"

Preston Flowers

"Everytime we come here the food is amazing. We are vegan and really appreciate the vegan options they have and the quality of the food. I never have any complaints, until most recently we went and was charged $5 over menu stating price for vegan options but other than that they are amazing!"

15 Estes Park Restaurants You Need to Try

One of the best Estes Park restaurants to stop in for a quick bite to eat in-between adventures, Scratch is a deli that takes the art of sandwich making very seriously despite their modest digs. They make their own bread in-house and offer a wide selection of toppings, in addition to specialty sandwiches, so you can decide to design a mouthwatering sammie yourself or kick back and know that the experts are in control of your (awesome) lunchtime decision.

It’s just a few minutes drive to either Elkhorn Avenue in downtown Estes Park or the Beaver Meadow entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. As I drove into the neighborhood I saw a gaggle of turkeys and was hoping we’d see them throughout our stay.
