Reviews Summary

Notchtop Bakery & Cafe is a beloved Estes Park spot praised for its generous portions, fresh local ingredients, and delicious breakfast and lunch options. Diners rave about unique dishes like the Dragon's Egg Rock Benedict and the Storm Peak waffle, as well as classic comfort foods. While the cozy atmosphere and friendly service are highlights, be prepared for potential waits due to its popularity and lack of a dedicated waiting area.

"Went on vacation with the family and saw this wonderful spot that people talked about how to try it out before a hike in the Rocky Mountains and it was perfect. The portions are amazing and oh my goodness I never had biscuits this great before and I’m in school currently to be a chef. It is Very family friendly I have two autistic boys and even though the youngest one had the hardest time trying to sit still the food came out fast was delicious. He enjoyed the colors that they provided him."

Oliver

"It was nice to go to a "locals" eatery instead of the more touristy venues. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was off the charts. The place was full at noon which is always a good sign. Our server was awesome. Five Stars, no doubt!"

ESTES PARK - Need a Restaurant Recommendation!!! - Page 2

For outdoor seating I'd say Mary's Lake Lodge, the Stanley Hotel, or the View Restaurant at Crag's Lodge(dinner only, and they only have 2 or 3 small balconies that hold 2 - 4 people each, but even if you're not on a balcony, the dining room is very nice and there's a good view.) Ed's Cantina also has outdoor tables overlooking the water.
