If you’re lucky enough to visit on Sunday, it serves a wonderful brunch. Donuts may certainly be the root of the vision, but the expansion has brought new and exciting flavors to join the ranks.

Personally, I prefer Krispy Kreme, but I still think you should go to Monuts for the delicious fresh baked bagels. When I was pregnant with my first and Monuts was at the first brick and mortar location, I walked to Monuts every single Saturday to get an everything bagel and a chocolate milk.

If I had to pick a drawback of this restaurant, it’d be the wait. It’s quite long but worth it. Monuts is a busy bakery and cafe located in downtown Durham, less than one mile away from Duke’s East Campus.
