"We came in on a road trip and hit Zia Taqueria after the D&S train.
I got the Tuesday special Chile Relleno, family got tacos, quesadilla, and a super taco.
Food is prepared in front of you while in line. Ingredients were fresh and had good flavor.
If I'm being really picky, my Chile was a little old. It was the last one in the pan. It was still really good though.
They load the food with toppings. They also have locally made specialty soda flavors at the fountain. We tried most of them. The cucumber soda needed some help, but the rest were great.
Would definitely recommend. We had 13 in our party and everyone was happy."

After a day of playing on the slopes at Purgatory Resort, about 30 minutes outside of Durango, we had an early dinner at Zia Taqueria. It’s conveniently located on the way back from the resort and much to my happiness they had posole. This hearty Mexican soup is hard to find on Colorado’s Front Range but it isn’t hard to find in Durango.
