Reviews Summary

The Hudson Cafe is celebrated for its incredibly generous portions of creative and delicious brunch dishes, particularly its unique pancakes and French toast creations. While the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service are often praised, be prepared for potential noise and longer wait times, especially on weekends, making reservations or opting for bar seating advisable.

"Haven't been in since the re did the place and it looks amazing! Very modern and up to date. Love how they opened it up! The food was creative and flavorful. The bacon jam omelet was okay but the cinnamon pancakes were amazing and I highly recommend the Irishmen Benny, it was incredible! The drinks were also creative and poured generously. We recommend the cereal flight! Our server was very helpful and made some great recommendations as well. They got pur food / drinks to us promptly and we're sat right away when we arrived for our reservations. Highly recommend everyone check this place out!"

"Had brunch here on a random Monday morning at 11:30 am and they were very busy. I can assume reservations would be needed on weekends. Their food was very good, with the pancakes being my favorite. Their corned beef hash was also very tasty and the portion was very fair for the price.

Service was quick and courteous, even with so many guests. The team worked together very well to assure guest satisfaction.

Overall, I would recommend and I enjoyed my brunch."

Cindy W.

"New here to Detroit and found this trendy little breakfast spot. We've been a few times and really liked the service and the food. I personally have jumped around on the menu trying different dishes but the other day I stepped out on a ledge and tried the bacon jam omelet. SOLD!!! Double backed two days later to have it once again. So, it's an omelet with brie, bacon prosciutto and bacon jam. I can't give this dish enough praise. The way the ingredients blend together is incredible. And the gooeyness of the brie...chef's kiss. Stop in and give em a try. Pro tip: sit at the bar. Usually no wait and the service is very, very good! Looking forward to trying the next best thing there. Oh yeah, they make their own strawberry jam in house which is also to die for."
