"Such a fun and delicious spot! The sliders are creative, flavorful, and perfect for mixing and matching so you can try a bunch of different ones in one visit. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and quick. The fries and sides are just as tasty, and the prices make it easy to sample a lot without breaking the bank. The casual vibe and friendly service make it a great place to bring friends or just hang out and enjoy good food. Definitely a Detroit must try!"

"I have been meaning to cross Green Dot Stables off my list during my work trips to Detroit, and finally went. It’s a fun spot, has a great vibe inside and the service is incredible.
The sliders are hit or miss, but they’re small so if you don’t like it you don’t have to suffer through a massive portion. If you want bang for your buck and to try a bunch of different things this is a spot to check out. My favorites were the regular cheeseburger and the fried chicken sliders. Also their fries are fantastic and I really liked the Mac n cheese, honestly those two alone make it worth a stop in."

"The food was ok and there were plenty of options.
The good thing about being small portions is that if you don't like one the you are not stuck with a whole lot of it. 🍟 🍔 🥪 🍲
The crew was very attentive and the vibe of the place feels very familiar.
There's plenty of parking and it is conveniently located in a main street."

Best Fried Chicken in Detroit
This popular West Lafayette eatery helmed by Chefs Matt Hollerbach and Nelly Gonzalez is beloved in Detroit for many reasons -- there's an infamous menu of sliders, sides, soups, and salads, followed very closely by a long list of mixed drinks, all for about $3. While the cheeseburger slider wins hearts and minds, and the wedge salad is that perfect bite of chilly lettuce, rich bleu cheese, and bacon, it was the fried chicken slider that cooed to us in the first place. It deserves a place on this list, if for no other reason than sometimes you want that salty, fatty, juicy chicken dinner to last exactly three bites.
Detroit’s Top Restaurants You Have To Try
The menu at Green Dot Stables may be simple but it is certainly tasty. Choose a selection of sliders from an extensive list including the quinoa burger, catfish, fried chicken and mystery meat paired with a choice of regular, truffle and herb, venison chilli, le poutine or Cajun fries. For a slightly healthier addition, order a salad on the side or a soup instead of the fries and stop by of an evening to take advantage of the reasonably priced drink menu.
