Reviews Summary

Park Tavern is lauded for its impressive bourbon and whiskey selection and its popular, well-priced brunch with bottomless drinks. Diners rave about the quality and presentation of the American tavern fare, with many highlighting specific dishes like shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles. While the atmosphere is generally appreciated, some guests note that it can become quite loud during peak hours.

"Had 6 pm Saturday reservation. Didn't know it would be during Happy Hour (5-7). They were slammed, but we were seated within 5 minutes. Wound up having dinner & drinks entirely from the Happy Hour menu. Food was tasty and freshly prepared; drinks were quality. Value was excellent! Service was great, taking into account how busy they were. Only negative was that it was incredibly LOUD!"

Oscar Abello

"First time at Park Tavern. Great park like hang out mostly locals this day. Did not eat but the plates and happy hour plates looked awesome. Very creative drink menu and Dani our bartender was a rock star. We will be back for happy hour!"

Thomas Strehle

"Whether with friends, family, or just by ourselves, Park Tavern has long been our go-to brunch spot. The menu options are reasonably priced, and the relaxed atmosphere is always a bonus. It’s a perfect option for a ‘day date’; and, over the past four years, we haven’t had any negative issues or experience. With all of that said, today’s meal and service was probably the most outstanding we’ve had — anywhere — in quite some time.

The Homemade Corn Bread never fails, but we were interested in trying new entrees today. My wife had the Red Chile Pork Belly Benedict (tender, melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness), and I chose the Banh Mi Breakfast Sandwich (which I’m still thinking about hours later). I was afraid that I would regret not going with my usual (Shrimp & Grits), but I may have a new favorite now.

However, the true standout of our meal today was our server, Gianna. Even when it started to pick up a bit (we had 11am reservations), she provided above & beyond service (refilling our coffee, replacing the water bottle, checking up to see how our food was/if we needed anything, etc). Every interaction with Gianna felt authentic, and she really made us feel welcomed. Her personality and attentiveness elevated a wonderful meal into a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!"

The seasonally changing libations come in classic -- like the Corpse Reviver #2, a combination of Bombay Sapphire, Lillet Blanc, citrus cane syrup, and Absinthe mist or the whiskey sour made with Woodford Reserve, fresh citrus, egg white, and orange bitter swirl -- and new school options, such as the Whiskey 'N' Apples with Berentzen Apple, Tullamore Dew, agave, lemon juice, and cinnamon apple. And the top-notch gastropub fare, like juicy burgers, smoked short rib, and grilled Atlantic salmon is the perfect accompaniment to soak up the innovative booze.
