Reviews Summary

El Camino is lauded for its delicious Mexican food and creative, well-made cocktails, with many reviewers praising the fresh ingredients and vibrant atmosphere. However, some diners have encountered issues with service, including long wait times and instances of inattentive or unprofessional staff, particularly during busy periods. Dietary concerns, like hidden ingredients in dishes, have also been noted as a point of improvement.

"5 Stars - A Staple in Delray That Never Misses

I’ve been coming to El Camino in Delray for years, and it’s consistently one of my favorite spots. The food and service are always top-notch — no matter how many times I visit, the quality never changes. That kind of consistency is rare and worth celebrating.

The vibe here is unmatched. Whether it’s the upbeat music, the vibrant crowd, or the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the energy is always at a high level.

You can come for a full meal (which I highly recommend), or just grab a seat at the bar and enjoy one of their excellent Mezcal margaritas or Mezcal mojitos. Either way, you're in for a great time.

El Camino is a staple in the Delray scene — and for good reason. Highly recommended!"

Mario A. Miranda Patrono

"Best Mexican food and drinks I’ve had in South Florida. Tequila list is massive. Steak fajitas came out sizzling and tasted amazing. Spicy watermelon margarita was made with all fresh ingredients. Service was great. Everyone I went with also loved it. Highly recommend."

Midas Mulligan

"The food was delicious. Their homemade hot sauce was great.

I ordered an octopus taco and a barbacoa taco and they were both delicious. The octopus was recommended, and I love it, and they did it perfectly

It's definitely loud in there. Took them over 30 minutes to get us a seat on Saturday night at 7pm which isn't bad. It's definitely a popular place. Very fun vibe."

Where To Find The Best Tasting Tacos In Delray

El Camino is a proudly Mexican restaurant that blends the artistry of its ancestral homeland with a modern bar and dining experience. Just a few steps from the Astor Condos at Pineapple Grove in Downtown Delray Beach, El Camino is the perfect place to blow off some steam after a long day at work or take a first date for drinks and an app. Despite the cool digs, the cooks at El Camino never skim on the portions, as even 2 or 3 tacos can fill up a full grown man (along with a hearty side of rice and beans).
