What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Momo Ghar is lauded for its authentic Nepalese and Tibetan dumplings, especially the flavorful chicken and pork momos served in a savory broth. Diners appreciate the friendly service and the unique experience within the bustling North Market. Some find the pricing a bit high for the portion size, and a few noted a desire for more flavorful fillings.
"Delicious Mongolian style dumplings. We tried the signature Momo and a chicken momo, liked both but preferred the one with the pork more.
Great customer service, the lady out front even taught us how to properly eat Momo.
You need to create a little hole on the dumpling, and then pour the soup in then eat it. Yum
Reasonably priced. Great location, inside the North Market of Columbus downtown area. With parking garage close by.
Highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay"

"I really enjoyed my vegetable potato dumplings. I personally think these are better when you take them home and crisp them up and pan fry in a little oil. They tastes fresh and clean. Reason for the 4/5 stars is because I originally ordered the vegan veggie, but I think sunrise orders the potato veggies and ours got mixed up. Either way there m they were good and I loved the sauces! A bit pricey for a full order, and I don’t think the quantum matched the prices either, but they do have a half order option."

"Despite all of the negative reviews about this place I’ve always had a great experience here. Vendors come and go in the north market but Momo Ghar has always been consistent for me every time I’ve gone. I think the dumplings are adequately sized and filled and while the fillings could be a bit more flavorful, I mostly return for the consistency and friendliness every time. Look forward to returning."

I had no idea how I could possibly eat one more thing before heading back to Nashville, but I was determined. I headed over to find Momo Ghar where I grabbed a helping of aloo (potato) momos, sat down at the counter, and ate them while having a lovely conversation with them about Nepal.
