**American and Seafood – 500 Mandalay Ave, Clearwater Beach $$$$Located in the Sandpearl, the décor and setting are ideal. The food is very good, a good choice for the special occasion.

The Sandbar, Caretta on the Gulf, The Bait House Tackle & Tavern, Mio’s Grill & Café, and Ocean Seven are all highly rated restaurants with views of the sea.

This is currently my top pick for a “fancy” restaurant in Clearwater Beach. They focus on seafood and it’s top notch. And I am very picky about seafood.
