"I always like to give places another shot, even if my first visit was just okay. Tonight, I stopped by Taglio in OTR and ordered cheese sticks and a personal pepperoni thin crust. Unfortunately, the cheese sticks didn’t live up to what I remember—they used to be great, but tonight they just didn’t hit the spot. I’ve had excellent ones in the past, and I was under the impression they were made in-house. The pizza was alright, but nothing standout.
I have to say, as much as I enjoy Cincinnati, the pizza scene here doesn’t compare to my hometown of Dayton. Places like Cassano’s, Flying Pizza, Joe’s Pizzeria, and Marion’s Piazza set the bar high. Dayton simply does pizza best.
I don’t love leaving negative reviews, but honest feedback matters. Hopefully, Taglio can step it up next time!"

"Listen, the pizza is decent. It tasted good. Is it the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had? Not even close. The crust was unusually chewy. My jaw got fatigued eating it. However, it tasted like it was made with fresh and good quality ingredients. It just wasn’t memorable or worth it in the end.
The reason this gets knocked down for me is the price point. It’s ridiculously expensive. It’s legitimately the most expensive and small pizza I’ve ever had. I’m going to show my hand compared to the pizza’s size for reference & I wear an XS glove size. I got small pizza ($14). The ranch is delicious, even better with the spicy garlic sauce, but even those were $2 each for a small amount. It’s just not worth the price and I don’t see myself coming here again when there are much more budget friendly options that are just as good as this place. If you don’t care about price, the pizza tasted good. Worth a try."
