"I have been a Mazunte supporter from very early on. I LOVE the food. I have had every dish on the menu multiple times. Over the years I have grown to love this place more and more, the Sunday brunch menu is outstanding. The tacos, pozole, tamales I mean everything is just delicious. They have the BEST FISH TACOS IN THE CITY. The service is always great. If you haven’t been yet. You have been missing out on one of the best places to eat in the city."

"The atmosphere was quaint and genuine. Reminded me of some of the small Mexican restaurants I've visited in Houston in the past. You order and pay at the front counter. You then choose your own table. The service was friendly and fast. The fountain drinks are self-service and you are asked to bus your own table. The food was decent. I can only speak for my own dish, which was the Memelitas. I was not overly impressed with it, but it wasn't bad either, so I DID finish it. Overall, in a scale of "terrible to amazing", I'd rate the food somewhere between "mediocre" and "not too shabby". This, paired with the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff, makes it worth a visit!"
