One of my favorite murals in Cincinnati is the mural at Jeff Ruby’s steak house downtown. The characters in the mural are taken from art deco portraits by one of my favorites, the Polish artist Tamara de Lempicka to add to an overall French art deco theme in the restaurant. Characters of the Roaring 1920s are shown,like Lempicka’s own husband Tjark, the Duchess de La Salle far left in yellow, and American actress Marjorie Ferry in the red dress far right.
