Reviews Summary

Baru offers a visually appealing atmosphere and fresh, high-quality sushi, with unique rolls and creative small plates. While many praise the ambiance and friendly service, some diners find the prices to be on the higher side for the portion sizes and flavor.

"We loved it here! We were seated in one of the two (I think) round booths right by the window! Fabulous! The sushi was delicious! The tempura shrimp appetizer was amazing! The sushi was fresh and delicious. We loved the half bottle of sake."

Barbara Murray

"I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Mallory provided us great recommendations and was attentive. The ambiance was nice and the decor was modern. The food was yummy and they have vegan/vegetarian options. I would go back!"

Kayla

"Made reservations but they weren't needed. Place was pretty empty. I had asked for a booth, not knowing how tiny they are. They are a single booth seat and a chair side opposite. Barely room for 2 people and food. Food was
OK, but priced very high. I guess the look is modern contemporary but its not great. The lights keep going up and down (like really up and down motion) and changing colors and stuff. Not really cool. It was our wedding anniversary, and for the money I wish we would have went somewhere more chill."
