"I've heard so much abt avec that I decided to give it a try. I was a bit surprised at how small(?) the restaurant is. I realized the pics I've seen of the restaurant was the river north location.
Overall, we enjoyed the food. Our favorite was the dip with kale. They didn't have pizza on the menu (maybe it's only avail at dinner time?) Our server recommended the dates which I usually LOVE and always order whenever I see them on the menu, but the bacon wrapped dates here were a bit too salty.
Btw, their seats are really uncomfortable. I think they seat you at the bar(?) area if you're a party of 2, but we asked for a table area."

Avec is not open for lunch (and FWIW has not impressed me, neither for its food, nor its no-reservation policy and lengthy waits, nor its uncomfortable seating).
