Reviews Summary

Attack of the Tatsu is lauded for its authentic Japanese flavors, particularly its rich ramen and delicious appetizers, served in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. While the food and service generally receive high praise, some guests have noted ventilation issues. The energetic vibe and extensive drink menu, including sake, make it a popular spot for both casual diners and those seeking a unique experience.

"Awesome fun hidden restaurant. Great vibes and fun wait staff. The drinks are strong and the food is yummy. The special was a pork belly slider, great appetizer! The ramen bowls are what you expect but very good portions. Nice late night menu with great drink specials. Try the highballs!"

Ken Storey

"The chicken ramen is excellent, with a rich and flavorful broth. Their appetizers are equally impressive and the service is both amazing and knowledgeable. The well-curated sake list is a great bonus. It's truly a standout dining experience and my best meal in Chattanooga to date.
🌺must visit"

"Nice evening so we ate outside on the cute little patio. Oyster mushroom tempura appetizer was great! Ramen bowls so full of flavor and food! (Sorry pic was just after I moved the pickled ginger off the chicken cutlet and dunked half of it into the wonderful curry broth.) Go and have great food and experience. And, if you’re fortunate enough to have Mary as your server, even better!! Her appetizer and dessert suggestions convinced us and did not dissappoint."

If you spot the bright red lanterns outside, you know you’ve arrived at Attack of the Tatsu. The interiors are just as striking: the front is light-filled and set up with wood counters, where you can grab a stool and tuck into karaage smothered with curry, tonkotsu ramen, and katsu sliders. In contrast: the back room is a cozy and dark den, an ideal nook for tossing back sake and refreshing highballs pulled from the Suntory Toki’s carbonation machine.
