Reviews Summary

The Fig Tree Restaurant is celebrated for its romantic ambiance within a historic bungalow and its creative Continental cuisine, featuring unique dishes like cherry butterscotch creme brulee. Diners consistently praise the exceptional service, making it a top choice for special occasions. However, some reviews mention inconsistencies in food preparation and presentation, with one diner experiencing issues with a reheated dish.

"Great night! This place is quite pricey so come ready for that, but it is an experience. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and nice bathrooms!
My favorite thing on the menu was the cherry butterscotch creme brulee. While non traditional the flavors were amazing.
I also had the sea bass which was quite good, especially when you got every part of the dish in one bite."

Julie Stevens

"Always the best experience.
An old foodie couple who goes out to try new restaurants every week told me that their favorite restaurant is Fig Tree without hesitation. The first time I tried it, it instantly became our favorite too.

I recommended it to my friends, and we had a party of 7 everyone agreed it was the best fine-dining restaurant they’d ever been to. With every bite, you can tell the chefs truly put their heart and effort into the food.

Our server, Justin, added extra charm to the experience with his great sense of humor. making the evening even more memorable."

Wenli Xu

"We recently celebrated our wedding at the Fig Tree - we rented out the bottom floor of the restaurant for our ~40 guests. Jane and the team were great to work with. They put together an event menu with us, and were more than happy to create custom options not typically on their menu, such as a chicken dish, lava cakes, and a wedding cake. We had looked at other restaurants with private event spaces in Charlotte, and they were all very unwilling to modify the set menu choices - we really we appreciated the flexibility at the Fig Tree! We used the outdoor patio area for cocktail hour and then came inside for a cozy candle-lit dinner, which SO delicious. The service was also excellent, as always. Thank you Fig Tree!"
