What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mo's Seafood & Chowder is celebrated for its iconic clam chowder and stunning ocean views, offering a casual, family-friendly dining experience. While many praise the flavorful seafood and friendly service, some reviews mention issues with food consistency, particularly regarding the clam chowder's clam content and an occasional reliance on fried items that lack flavor.
"Came here to watch the sunset view while grabbing dinner and it was really fun! Great place for kids. The root beer float was especially delicious. The food was pretty good for the price, but THE GARLIC BREAD IS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! Loved it!"

"Our family stopped here after exploring Hug Point and it was a great place to sit and grab a simple lunch with an amazing view! Our food was okay, not amazing, but it did the job. The clam chowder and fettuccine alfredo were our favorites! The staff were kind and the restaurant was clean. The people watching was probably the best part!"
Lacey Wolf
"We visited for a meal and were really looking forward to the clam chowder. Unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming- more like potato soup than clam chowder. Across two servings (in bowl + in bread), we only found one tiny piece of clam in total, though there were plenty of potatoes.
The cod sandwich also didn’t meet expectations. It felt more like a basic fish burger, and honestly, even McDonald’s does it better. The lemon slice served with it looked pre-squeezed, not fresh - which added to the overall disappointment.
That said, there are some positives: the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The view was lovely."
