Stop in, make yourself at home, and remember to get there early for your choice of their locally-renowned bagels, they go fast!

Opened in 1992, this spot is revered for its hand-roasted coffee, tasty and fuss-free menu, and laid back vibe. The breakfast sandwich comes on an english muffin with egg, cheese and your choice of ham, sausage, bacon, or avocado, and makes for the perfect on-the-go bite. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, check out the selection of scones and other house-made pastries.

If you’re up early with your dog, start your day with a visit to Calistoga Roastery (don’t forget to use your free breakfast voucher!), where locals gather for coffee and conversation at the dog-friendly tables out front. Your pup might get a few head pats before you’ve even placed your order.

If you’re an early bird like myself, you’re always on the hunt for a cafe that is open early so you can pick up coffee and breakfast. I love this little coffee shop. Calistoga Roasteryhas a huge selection of breakfast foods (sandwiches, bagels, smoothes, etc) and it’s really affordable.

We knew Calistoga Roastery would be good when they passed our Americano test on first sip!. Great for either breakfast or lunch (or both!), Calistoga Roastery serves breakfast sandwiches, bagels, lunch sandwiches (try the macaroni salad!), and more. Try their cheesy breadsticks, too.

Many spots on our list have coffee but none are “the Coffee that Wakes up Napa Valley.” A favorite haunt of “Pearls Before Swine” cartoonist Stephan Pastis, this cozy cafe is known for high-quality, locally-roasted coffee made in conjunction with partner Calistoga Coffee Company.

When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed by the friendly owner who remembered me from my previous visit. It's no wonder this place is a local favorite!. As I looked around, I noticed the old school decor and chuckled at some of the funny signs hanging up.
