Reviews Summary
The Left Bank is celebrated for its excellent food and service, with many diners highlighting signature dishes like the pappardelle and fondue. While the ambiance is often praised, some guests have noted inconsistencies in food quality and occasional slow service during busy periods. Despite minor critiques, the restaurant remains a beloved spot for special occasions and a consistent favorite for many locals.
"Phenomenal food and service. Peppers and fondue for two were incredible appetizers. Ravioli special, chicken and chorizo and cheese tortellini were outstanding. Great service too. Favorite restaurant ever. 👍😋"

"We dined here for my fiancé's birthday dinner- overall impression was good, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was quality and you could tell it was made fresh. Each order was also a generous portion which you don't always see at higher end restaurants. If there had to be one "complaint" for the evening, it did take longer than expected for each course to arrive, however the server checked in with us frequently and our drinks were never empty. Our dinner took just over 2 and a half hours which we didn't mind, but an observation nonetheless.
I would come back for sure, there was several other menu items I would have liked to try."

"Everything was pretty good! Nothing blew me away, but minimal complaints. Steak was a very large portion and cooked to how I wanted it. Fondue was very good. Cocktails were below average. Service was average, a tad slow and waited 5 minutes when we walked in to even see a host. We went for our anniversary but no one asked if we were there for anything special or seemed to care to make it special. Overall pretty good and has reasonable priced items for a fine dining place so it doesn’t have to break the bank if you don’t want it to. Would go back but next time with slightly lower expectations."

6 of Buffalo's most romantic hidden patios
The Left Bank runs in the same circles as the rest of Buffalo's fine dining royalty, the old monarchy around long before any of the "new Buffalo" fine dining or experimental small plate restaurants. A meal here means tried-and-true pasta, hunks of meat or traditional appetizers, eaten on a simple patio next door to the restaurant, hidden from the street by a blue fence. A tree spills over onto the patio, flower baskets supply pops of color and the Left Bank's signature ivy wraps the brick building and fence in winding chains of green.

Looking for a romantic restaurant to propose to my girlfriend in! : Buffalo
I haven't been to either but of the two I think Left Bank looks more promising, mainly due to ambiance as well as the menu. It may be important to note that she is a vegetarian, I am not. So, I'd like to go somewhere that has both great vegetarian food as well as carnivorius, otherwise if we both ate meat I'd definitely go to a place like Hutch's.
