Luckily, the Blue Stag Saloon has two fireplaces set amidst a cozy atmosphere made up of recycled beetle-kill wood ceilings and old barn walls. Locals love this spot for the happy hour: You can snag a Coors or Coors Light for $3, queso for $7, and a pizza for $12.

We visited the Blue Stag Saloon Restaurant for its convenient location right on main street. On the images you can see a corn dogs basket, bacon wrapped pretzels and hot wings. The pretzels were not really bacon wrapped and the cheese hardened before it got to our table, so that it’s not much of a dipping sauce.

Then we ventured out for some fresh air and checked out a handful of small shops, then ducked into The Blue Stag Saloon for one last drink before dinner. That place was really cute and homey and “mountainy”.

If you’re in the mood for a slightly more upscale dinner, Blue Stag Saloon offers elevated pub food, as well as make-your-own pizzas. Their craft cocktail list and huge beer list isn’t too shabby, either!

The Blue Stag has dropped the nautical-themed décor, and although the food has a more modern, gastropub-like style, the interior design and atmosphere is very laid-back ski lodge.

I wanted to give this review one or two stars because our food sucked. But, we only ordered two gluten free pizza's. I don't want to judge the entire menu by the bad pizza.

A fun spot for drinks or dinner right on main street, we grabbed pre-dinner drinks here and enjoyed them outside around the fire pits!
