Reviews Summary
Crustacean Beverly Hills is celebrated for its elegant ambiance and creative Vietnamese-French fusion cuisine, with standout dishes like the famous garlic noodles and Dungeness crab receiving high praise. While many enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere and attentive service, some diners note that prices are on the higher end, and occasionally, service can be slow or inattentive.
"Came in without a reservation for a late lunch on Father's Day and we were able to be seated within a few minutes. There was a limited menu for father's day labeled as brunch but it had a wide variety of items. The ube pancake was really good and the sticky ribs were delicious as were the pastrami egg rolls. Pot stickers and noodles were good as well. I'd go back to try their more traditional menu items. The service was excellent and very attractive."

"Fancy ambiance and location, and a good place to celebrate something, but be ready to pay up.
We got some dim sum, the orange chicken, the garlic noodles and crab, as well as the tuna cigars. Everything was good, but not mind-blowing and you can definitely find as good for much cheaper. Drinks were fun and interesting. A lot of it was clearly for the show and social media
Service was mostly on point, but we were sat down and promptly ignored for 15 minutes even though there weren't that many other parties"

"good location of the restaurant. the interior is not beautiful, plastic flowers make your restaurant look cheap and your prices are like in the most expensive restaurant. the snacks were ordinary tasty. the noodles which are considered exclusive were also ordinary. we liked the eggplant and the crab was also tasty. but the price is very expensive. the volume was also normal we were cleaned quickly everything was clean but the waiter forgot to bring my cocktail. this is a good place but it is too expensive. The music above our table was playing very loudly. We asked to turn it down and were ignored."

Like Spago, Crustacean is not new - in fact it's 25 years old this year - but like Spago it is SO where you want to be. True, we could live without the Gipsy Kings wailing about what a lovely place the Hotel California is at full-vol before the sun is even over the yardarm (they eat early in this neck of the woods), but otherwise everything in the garden's rosy. Among the Vietnamese-American treats are shrimp tempura - small, lettuce-wrapped balls of rock shrimp that burst with freshness on the tongue, the house speciality, roast crab (either in or out of the shell) and Crustacean's famous garlic noodles.
