Leery’s Irish Pub: when you’re seafood-ed (if that’s a word) out, this pub offered amazing classic Irish fare. We got the fish and chips and a Shepard’s pie – great portions and delicious fried haddock.

Pubs are usually kid-friendly and this one is a reliable option. Both the fish chowder and fish & chips have fresh haddock. The chowder had bacon and potatoes and was just the thing on a chilly night.

Leary’s Landing Irish Pub: This traditionally decorated tavern serves up hearty Irish and New England-style dishes, along with a selection of ales and whisky. It’s a great spot for a fun evening out.

Also recommended to us but we did not visit: Leary’s Landing, an Irish pub in Bar Harbor; and The Barnacle, with over 20 revolving taps, local kombucha, and signature cocktails.

On one of our last nights, we were craving burgers after a day of adventuring. We wandered into an Irish Pub called Leary’s Landing, and boy, the burger did not disappoint.

Next up was Leary’s Irish Pub, where we enjoyed some calamari that was infused with garlic or something spicy we couldn’t figure out.
