Reviews Summary

The Bygone offers a dining experience highlighted by its breathtaking city and harbor views, coupled with a sophisticated ambiance reminiscent of the 1920s. While many rave about the exquisite food presentation and flavor, some diners note inconsistencies in menu items and the steak could use more seasoning. The price point is considered upscale, but many find the overall experience, including impeccable service, well worth the cost for special occasions or a luxurious night out.

"I had such a wonderful time at brunch here! The service was amazing — our waiter, Dan, was attentive and very accommodating. And don’t even get me started on the ambiance… the view was absolutely spectacular! I didn’t want to leave.

The highlights for me were the omelet station, the waffle station, and the fresh seafood. I customized a crab and shrimp omelet, and it was incredibly tasty. The cocktails were also excellently crafted. I highly recommend checking them out!"

Kristin Greene

"I've been here twice before my most recent visit a few weeks ago on a Friday evening. This was my first time sitting down to dine. The food was amazing. I have no complaints at all. The service was also good. We had reservations, that might make a difference for availability. There is an intimate, dark ambiance with beautiful rooftop views."

Shaneisha McMillan

"We loved the amazing views! We were here celebrating a birthday, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary ice cream sundae — such a thoughtful treat.

If it’s your first time visiting, one thing to keep in mind is that the meal presentation and menu items can change frequently. What we saw in recent reviews didn’t quite match what was on the actual menu, so it’s best to stay open-minded. Also, if you have food allergies, I’d recommend calling ahead to confirm what options are available for you.

While most of our selections were fantastic, we felt the steak could’ve used more seasoning — we didn’t end up finishing it. Everything else we ordered was delicious, and the drinks were excellent.

In terms of pricing, although many reviews mention a budget of $50–$100 per person, we found it more realistic to plan for at least $150 per person.Valet parking options are available. If you are able to walk or take an uber.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth visiting!"
