Reviews Summary

Kooper's Tavern is lauded for its friendly service and cozy pub atmosphere, particularly praised for its excellent crab cakes and burgers. While many enjoy the waterfront views and dog-friendly patio, some reviews mention inconsistent food quality, with pizza and certain side dishes receiving less favorable remarks.

"I stopped by on a Sunday night. The bar seemed packed and there was a single bartender, a tall young man with long hair, running around taking care of everyone. His hard work and service really impressed me and encouraged me to leave a review. I had a bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. This place has a fantastic atmosphere."

Henry Calvert

"I went to this place after waiting for check in at the Pendry. I saw pizza and I wanted pizza. Although there was nothing on the drink menu I wanted, the selection seemed to please others there. I ordered The Doc Pizza and it took about 40 minutes for it to come out, seemed long of a wait for a tavern that had maybe 12 people there (but that's not a big issue). The issue is the bartender seemed displeased that I sat at the bar and didn't end up ordering an alcoholic beverage. They didn't have cider, they were out of the Sangria and I just wasn't in the mood for hard liquor until I ate something. But, once the pizza came out. It had the thickest, tasteless cheese and it was SUPER greasy. The pepperoni was the only thing good about the pizza. Oh not to mention the dough was very bland. I may possibly try this tavern again, maybe ordering something else on the menu, but I doubt it."

Chris P

"Great service but food was just ok. Biscuit for the chicken sandwich was crumbly and dry and the home fries were soggy. Salmon BLT wasn't cooked medium when asked but overcooked. It was described to be on cibatta bread but definitely wasnt. Koopers lager is good though."
