"We visited Ocean Steak on our most recent visit to Atlantic City. If you're lucky enough, you can get a table over looking the ocean. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by our team of servers. They were knowledgeable and very friendly. We ordered the surf and turf, chicken franchise, a side of mac and cheese, and the cauliflower au gratin. The filet mignon and the lobster tail melted in your mouth. They were also ample in size. The cost was $140, but it was well worth it. My husband had the $ 59, 3 course special. I'm not even a fan of chicken franchise, but this was exceptional. We didn't even touch our sides and had to take them to go.
The bread and their special spread filled us up. Anthony was definitely part of our team as well as the son of a different server, who happened to be at the computer next to our table. We were complimenting the son, and the father was proud. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. We also ordered a bottle of Reisling. We will definitely be back.

"Our waiter took our drink order and then disappeared for about 20 mins. Not sure what was going on but it left much to be desired. The food was good, the salmon was a little dry but the sauces made it a little better. The bacon appetizer gave both my husband and I terrible heart burn for a couple days after eating it. Not sure I would go back since the service was not that good."

"This was the 2nd time that I've had dinner at Ocean Steak with my husband and son. On our first visit, the service was excellent. However, in this visit, I sadly can't say the same. The restaurant had a steady flow of pattons, but it wasn't packed, yet our server appeared to have difficulty juggling his tables. Maybe he saw our Philadelphia Eagles jerseys and assumed we were bad tippers (so not true since we tip 25% as a minimum and go much higher for excellent service), I don't know, but the service from our main server left a lot to be desired. In fact, his support staff who was responsible for bringing our table bread and water was MUCH more helpful and attentive.
Service aside, our meal was delicious. We started with the fried calamari and seeared crab cake for appetizers. Then for the main course, my son had the Chilean seabass (he said it was delicious!), and my husband and I both ordered the filet mignon with JD onions. I also had a side order of wild mushrooms to put on my steak. We had the 5 cheese mac & cheese along with the potato puree for sides. For dessert, my husband and I shared the creme brulee and my son had the chocolate cake.
Everything was delicious! I just hope service improves by our next visit."

We never thought of topping a steak with shrimp scampi until chef Romeo DiBona suggested we do so here and, well, there’s no turning back. DiBona will also top your steak (we suggest the 48-ounce tomahawk chop for two) with foie gras, a combination of jumbo lump crabmeat, or double-smoked bacon.
