I have also enjoyed a Maine style lobster roll last summer at The Back Bay Ale House in Historic Gardner's Basin, Atlantic City. It was fantastic and they have their own twist by including a little bit of red shrimp, along with mostly lobster.

I spent a few hours studying the wind/wave data on the open ocean, studying the water depths of the inside ICW Route, and looking up Harbor Host contact names for Atlantic City.

There are great bars too, from The Irish Pub right off the boardwalk, to the more local-feeling Back Bay Ale House along the harbor.
