Reviews Summary
Lazy Betty is a highly acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant offering an exceptional tasting menu experience with creative dishes and beautiful presentations. Diners praise the impeccable service and unique flavor combinations. While the overall experience is widely lauded as worth the price, some find the cocktails and wine pairings to be on the pricier side, and a few have noted a richness in the dishes that can be overwhelming by the end of the meal.
"A wonderful experience that was made more beautiful by the caring staff. The sommelier, our server, and busser were very attentive and friendly. The food was to die for but I won't describe it, as that's like giving away spoilers to a good book.
Not your everyday meal, but worth the price. (We paid about 500 a head for the chef's tasting menu and wine pairings)"

"Absolutely spectacular Michelin star restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. Came here for my wife's birthday and enjoyed our entire experience. Prior to arriving, we were called by the manager or owner to confirm our meal choice which he recommended the 6 course menu for us first timers. Turns out, it was an excellent choice and left us feeling satisfied and we'll fed. The drinks were excellent as well and we're recommended to us by our excellent server Anthony who was very helpful, friendly, and helped guide us through our meal with great personality. There were other team members who explained some of the courses to us, and they were all very thorough and kind as well.
The ambiance of the restaurant is excellent with a nice looking bar that helps balance out the very well designed and not overly crowded restaurant. The entire experience at Lazy Betty was truly a Michelin star worthy experience and my wife and I were both completely satisfied.
5 stars easily and two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Lazy Betty!
Thank you to all staff for an exceptional dinner!"

"Beautiful creative presentation. Rich deep vibrant flavors.
Starting from the very first plate. Each of the four bites had various layers of flavors that played inside my mouth. One of the bites had a play of flavors for a few seconds and all of a sudden another layer kicked in to be discovered and savored. It was very satisfying. The weaving of fungi/mushroom in various dishes along with other well created foods/ingredients provided plentiful umami experience throughout the meal. The rich deep taste would actually linger in my mouth in between the dishes. The time between some of the dishes provided a blank canvas for the flavors to linger and savor in my mouth
The only thing that we were disappointed in was the dessert. Subjectively, it felt a little bit flat in creativity and flavor. It may be that my palate for dessert is not what people typically like in this culture. Chocolate, coffee, or banana (the ingredients of the dessert) are some of my least favorite options. I much prefer ingredients like nuts (almond, pistachio, hazelnut, black sesame, etc.), or spices (cinnamon, cardamon, clove, anise, etc.), or flowers (lavander, rose, etc.) or more "exotic" fruits (mango, papaya, dragon fruit, pomelo, tamarind, yuzu etc.), Since the theme was mushroom it would've been amazing if they played with some sort of truffle in the dessert.
However, the pallet cleanser before the dessert was very refreshing, rejuvenating, and unique, maybe because it had jasmine and buddha's hand.
Overall, this restaurant deserves the Michelin one star. It is one of the best culinary experiences I've had. It will be an experience I will remember for the rest of my life."
