Reviews Summary

Element 47 offers a refined American dining experience with a strong emphasis on seasonal ingredients and an exceptional wine program. Diners frequently praise the high quality of dishes, particularly the Wagyu beef and the addictive bread rolls, as well as the attentive and professional service. However, some guests have noted a decline in presentation and uniqueness compared to previous experiences, suggesting a potential inconsistency.

"This has been the most wonderful experience during my time in Aspen.
Thank you, Zach, for introducing me to such amazing dishes—every bite was a delightful surprise. The care and thoughtfulness shown by Element 40 truly touched me. Thank you for your kind wishes—I’ll definitely be back next time!"

Huxin Zang

"This was such a wonderful location to spend his birthday. Everyone and everything was just amazing! The duck and white asparagus were so delicious. For his birthday we were given a complimentary glass of champagne along! Just the sweetest time and we are looking forward to returning to Element 47. We stayed at Little Nell Residences so even the breakfast from Element 47 was spectacular! Fresh juices to live for! Only complaint I have… I can’t leave more than 5 stars this review! Thank you all for the experience. Great birthday dinner."

Jackie Manning

"This was our favorite restaurant in Aspen! We had a server named Gerino and he was fantastic. But overall, the other people that helped service our table were great as well. We started with deviled eggs and olives, then shared the sliders for a lighter meal. Everything was outstanding. The only thing that would have enhanced the sliders would be to add cheese but other than that I would highly recommend this restaurant. We sat in the bar area for quicker service. Very nice environment."

The Little Nell – Hotel Review

The Little Nell's most celebrated restaurant (and one of Aspen's hottest tables) is Element 47, where I enjoyed dinner one night with my family (and was supremely relieved when we were offered the private dining room with the kids, since the main dining room was sophisticated, with dim lighting and a nice view of the illuminated winter wall in the outdoor garden). Local Wagyu beef, wolfish from Iceland, and Colorado-grown root vegetables, all expertly prepared, were on the prix fixe menu. There was also an "indulgence" menu with lobster, caviar, foie gras, and the like.

The 16 best restaurants in Aspen, Colorado

Named after silver’s atomic number, in a nod to Aspen’s silver mining history, Element 47 is The Little Nell’s fine dining restaurant. One of the most iconic hotels in Aspen, and it’s only five-star ski-in/ski-out hotel, The Little Nell offers several dining choices, including the famous Ajax Tavern (see below). However, for a blowout evening meal, it’s hard to beat suave Element 47 with dishes like locally-raised wagyu tartare, Golden Kaluga caviar with lemon soufflé blinis, and truffle agnolotti with wagyu and foie gras.
