Reviews Summary

Plant offers a creative and impressive vegan dining experience, praised for its flavorful dishes and decadent desserts. While many enjoy the cozy atmosphere and attentive service, some guests have noted issues with service timing and parking.

"Delicious meal and excellent service! Food was rich and decadent. we had a late seating time and never felt rushed to end our meal. The plant-based cheeseboard was flavorful. The mole was exceptional. The saffron ice cream was nutty and the perfect end to a perfect meal.
Highly recommend"

Adair London

"Took our server’s suggestion to get the cheese plate and Brussels sprouts tostadas which were both flavorful, unique, and delicious dishes. Also got the rhubarb & strawberry blondie (a seasonal dessert) which was out of this world. One small plate + one medium plate + one dessert was a good amount of food for 2 people. It was relatively full on a Thursday night, so making a reservation is probably a good idea. The parking lot is also a bit small but found street parking nearby."

Kathleen Gullion

"Delicious food! The cauliflower appetizer was the best along with their cheese board. Friendly staff. For dessert the blondie was insanely good! Stay away from the key lime cheesecake- had a gritty texture and no lime flavor at all. I’m vegan and appreciate this restaurant so much but the other people who went along with me were not and they all enjoyed it too!"

The Best Vegetarian Restaurants In Asheville North Carolina

Starting with one of the best restaurants in town – vegetarian or not – Plant is an upscale, dinner-only vegan hotspot that captured Ashevillians’ hearts when its doors opened in 2011. The intimate space has garnered all kinds of praise in its seven years of operation, including a nod in January 2018 in Thrillist’s list of “ The 21 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in America.” Expect an eclectic, small menu with a few unfamiliar ingredients that may just take your taste buds to places they haven’t been before. Reservations recommended.
