What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Ahi Poke Bowl for its fresh ingredients, unique fish selections like shoyu and caviar salmon, and generous portion sizes that offer great value. The friendly service and the build-your-own concept are also highlighted as significant positives. While some mention occasional issues with ingredient accuracy in delivery orders or being a bit skimpy on protein, the overall sentiment is highly favorable for a healthy and delicious meal.
"A favorite for me, always worth a quick fifteen to twenty minute drive for good food.
I usually get an order to go, I've been going here since they first opened & they always been consistent with fresh food & ingredients with wonderful service. My base is typically white rice, it's always soft & fluffy, never old. There are a lot of poke options, I'd recommend any of the shoyu, hawaiian, or caviar ones. The others ones I just haven't tried. Their seaweed toppings is great, I love that these are in strings versus the flat seaweed pieces that other places have. Avocados are fresh, never browning & the crab salad is a must. I do miss that they no longer offer masago for a topping, but I'm sure there's a reason whether it's accessibility or price.
Friendly staff, quick service. I paid about $17 total for a regular bowl (two poke scoops, up to 5 toppings), not a bad price with a large portion. If you like poke, I'd definitely recommend stopping by."

"We wanted to try this place on our eat-out day, but honestly, we were a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. Still, we gave it a shot—and we're glad we did. It didn’t disappoint.
The regular bowl is $13 and comes with 2 proteins and 5 sides. We were pleasantly surprised to see they actually have more protein and side options available in-store than what’s listed on the menu board. The staff were quick and efficient, and they’ll ask what sauce you want. We tried all three, but later noticed they have bottles on the side—so tip for next time: just add your own at the table to control the flavor better.
We went with salmon and tuna, and both were fresh and tasty. The portion size was solid—$13 filled us up just fine. If you’re hungrier, they also have a larger bowl for $17.
Located in a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking. For those saying it's expensive—honestly, everything is these days, and we think the pricing here is fair for what you get as of 7/25/25."

"I finally got my poke fix! I loved the different options for proteins. It wasn’t just basics spicy or non spice proteins. They added their own flavors like shoyu salmon, caviar salmon etc. Everything was definitely fresh. I will be going back whenever I’m in town."

Billed as the first Hawaiian poke restaurant in the state, this fast-casual eatery, located about 10 miles from Globe Life Park, promises endless build-your-own poke options at a bargain, with regular and large sized bowls priced at $8.50 and $10.95. The process is simple: Start with a base of rice, salad or both; pick a protein (tuna, yellowtail, salmon) and then load up on included toppings like crabmeat, seaweed salad, ginger, pineapple and orange fish roe.
Things to Eat in Arlington
Four years ago, long before poke became a thing in North Texas, former Hawaiian Khang Vo opened this unassuming poke shop, where he educated locals in the language of Hawaii-style marinated tuna, piled in a bowl with fresh veggies and rice. Despite competition, Texas’ first poke restaurant is still going strong, thanks to Vo’s vow to use only the freshest of fish.
