Reviews Summary

Biscuitclub is lauded for its incredibly delicious and perfectly textured biscuits, often described as the star of every dish. Diners rave about the creative sandwich options and classic biscuits and gravy, complemented by friendly service and a unique, colorful atmosphere. While the location can be a bit tricky to find and waits can be long, the rewarding culinary experience makes it a must-visit spot in Anchorage.

"Loved it! Homemade biscuits are the base for every dish. Tables are out in the hall. Decor is festive. Service was friendly. We had the Heartbreaker with eggs and a side of Biscuit Jammer."

"Discovered this hidden gem thanks to a good friend’s recommendation—and I’m so glad I did! Heads up: Google Maps sends you to the wrong spot—it’s actually on the opposite side of Third Street, so keep your eyes peeled.
The menu has a great variety, including plenty of vegetarian options, which is always a plus. When you walk in, you place your order and then head over to a cozy seating area across the main space.
I grabbed an egg and cheese biscuit to go, and wow—what a treat. The biscuit was freshly baked that morning, and the eggs were cooked over-easy right in front of me. Simple, satisfying, and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more!"

Fabiana Kirtley

"This place serves coffee and biscuit-centric food, see the name. They also have soda by the can and bottled water. Located on the vack lower level of a strip mall-ish city block, they can be a bit difficult to find from the main touristy area, but thankfully, there was. Small sign on the front of the building directing us around back. There is inside seating and picnic benches out under the overhang if you'd like some fresh air. Decent view of a pay parking lot and the water to the north. The food was hot and good, I recommend the biscuits and gravy."

Where to Eat in Anchorage, Alaska: A Local's Guide to 30+ Places

While I have always recommended Biscuitclub because I love biscuits and gravy, I hadn’t actually visited this spot until my trip in August 2023 – and I’m SO glad it was too crowded at Snow City Cafe (more on that below) and we had to eat here instead!. Biscuitclub isn’t entirely off the radar, but it’s such a great option, you should definitely put it on your list for a morning meal during your time in Anchorage. This restaurant is easy to miss (as it’s on the back of an old mall building) and operates a little differently (you order in a small standing-room area, then take a seat at tables out in the hallway. Don’t let any of this put you off though, their variety of biscuits and gravy combos are insanely delicious, and will fill you up for a day of adventure.
