"Booked through Google maps (open table), in comments I noted “birthday”. We were promptly seated. To our surprise the table was subtly decorated with HBD printed menus and a little confetti :) Service was great, our food and drinks were extraordinarily delicious! "We went for a birthday celebration. The table looked nice and had birthday glitter on it. That’s about where the specialness stops. Our waiter never checked on us unless we caught his eye. There were multiple times when my tea was empty and it didn’t get refilled until I asked and when my companions beer was empty no one asked him if he wanted a refill and again we had to request one by catching the waiters eye when he went by. The creamed spinach was dull tasting asparagus was good. My filet mignon was tougher than I expected, but his steak was cooked properly. They sang happy birthday to the people at the table next to us, but when they gave my companion his birthday desert, they did not sing happy birthday to him. When you’re paying close to $300 for two people to have dinner, you would expect your drinks to always be full, your waiter to continue to check on you and your Birthday dessert to come with a song. Seriously we got better service the next day at Disneyland. That’s saying something. It was very noisy in there and it was very hard for us to talk to each other. I would not go back.
Oh I almost forgot, the Birthday dessert was just coffee flavored jello pudding. Bleh.
Also even though the menu says fine steaks and chops they no longer serve the pork chop."
