Reviews Summary

Coyote Bluff Cafe is celebrated for its exceptional burgers and generous portions, with many diners praising the unique, cozy atmosphere. While the food is a definite highlight, some reviews mention inconsistent service and the rustic building's upkeep as potential drawbacks.

"This place is the epitome of a diamond in the rough! From the outside you’d pass it right by…but when you do you are truly missing out!

From the minute you walk in the service, atmosphere, and smell of the food take you to an eclectic, western, rugged, bar off the back streets feel. With a tub full of beer bottles and a chalk board with the modest food selection you ask yourself what you just got yourself into.

Then that food comes and dang was I glad I came! The steak had a perfect outer crust and was cooked just how I ordered it! And man those fries — fresh hand cut fries, chili, cheese, green chili peppers and homemade ranch. Dang good food!

This place has almost convinced me I need to be careful about passing up places that are rough on the outside, because what I might find on the inside just might be worth the stop!"

"Open the door to the Coyote Bluff Cafe and step back into a time when burgers and fries were great. Thick patties, toppings your way, great bun choices (try the onion!) and amazing house-cut fries (mix some of the house hot sauce in with your ketchup for a little extra kick.) Absolute gem of a place, conveniently located just off I-40. Best Burger I've had in a while, and it was five bucks cheaper than what you'll get at Five Guys. Plus the old West vibe is all-time."

Chris Brinlee Jr

"No it's not a set for a Stephen King movie. It's a run down relic of days gone by. The joint lost its luster decades ago, but the food is mediocre.

Boss lady and I were driving through town and believed all the hype. The joint is small, dirty, and the floors uneven but that's what makes this joint appealing to some.

I ordered a chili cheese bacon burger and she a regular cheeseburger. They tasted ok, nothing overwhelming. As some reviewers have commented, their patties are overcooked and dry. The fries and onion rings were good.

One and done. There are better burger joints to visit."
