Reviews Summary

Seared Bistro offers a delightful dining experience with a warm atmosphere and exceptional service, praised for its creative and high-quality American dishes. While many rave about signature items like the Beef Wellington and 'The Farm', and highlight the attentive staff, some diners note issues with excessive saltiness or less successful desserts. The restaurant's off-the-beaten-path location belies its upscale ambiance and culinary talent.

"Tried this place out for the 1st time because we wanted to try a new restaurant. The ambience is chill and relaxing. This is a great place to have a date night. They offer wine (pretty big selection) and cocktails. They had a pretty good selection on their menu and the waiter let us.know that it does change dependent on the season. We liked that because we can have different options when we go again. I usually get a picture of the menu to post, however, if it changes it would be worthless so just go and find out. I do recommend giving this place a try. The food was absolutely wonderful! I had the Cowboy Rib eye with Marrow and my wife had the fettuccine with lamb. Let me tell you, they don't skimp on the portions. Yes the dishes can be a bit pricey BUT we had left overs for 2 meals after so I would say it's worth it. We would go back and order the same thing because it was so good. Seasoning was on point and presentation was great. Every employee we encountered was very welcoming. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations when asked. I can say we will definitely return and are eager to try some of their other options and we have also recommended family members to go as well. The restaurant is kind of hidden but so glad we discovered it. It's located across the street from Old Town so you can probably walk across the street for a stroll or some shopping after. Roll by and try it out for yourselves. I recommend giving them a call if possible to make a reservation because the restaurant isn't that big so there could be a wait.

"Excellent service - knowledgeable & friendly server. Blue pear appetizer was good although more honey would be nice. The scallops were some of the best ever with a delicious succotash of corn, mushroom, bell pepper. Dessert not so good - pecan cobbler. Tasty pecans but the bread part was just blah like a hard biscuit with no flavor. Overall a great experience."

"Went for the beef Wellington special they have every last weekend of the month. It was totally worth the trip. We also got the stuffed squash blossoms appetizer and 14 oz cowboy ribeye served with a marrow bone. Which were all delicious. For dessert we chose the deconstructed pecan cobbler, which in my opinion was not that good. The texture of the pecans seemed wrong, like they were raw and soaked in bourbon."
