"An excellent restaurant with excellent cuisine, I have never eaten such wonderful steaks anywhere else - it is simply something incredible, therefore Five stars 5. If it were possible to give 6, I would give 7*. Yes, it is expensive, but this is a Steak House. At the same time, I did not expect that the most ordinary steak on duty for £16 would be simply incredible - soft and very tasty. You do not even need to cut it - it is already cut and you only have to take a piece, put it in your mouth and ... drown. Just drown in an ocean of pleasure! For the first time in 8 years of living in the UK I ate a relatively inexpensive, but such a delicious steak! I will soon start rapping about this steak. Everything else was also excellent - French fries under parmesan cheese with some very tasty sauce, then there were desserts, I tried two and both were excellent, especially the peach mousse. The service is a separate praise! I'm a little confused, but I got the impression that our table for 4 people was served by 4 or 5 waiters. Moreover, the service system is worked out to the smallest detail, everyone knows their business and supports their colleague. Needless to say, there were no empty seats in the hall, it was necessary to book a table in advance, but it was worth it. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant hall, but what I did not expect was the magnificent interior of the lobby in front of the toilets, and the toilets themselves were very clean and very well done. It often happens that the restaurant hall is decorated very well, but this is where the care for customers ends. But here everything is different - everything is thought out to the smallest detail and nothing spoils the impression of the wonderful cuisine of the restaurant. Of course, next time I come to York, I will book a table in this restaurant in advance. I can safely recommend everyone to enjoy lunch or dinner in this restaurant, I am sure you will get a lot of pleasure!"

"Had a wonderful time this evening, we were welcomed by the hostess and shown to our spacious table. We were brought a second drinks menu and had a good length of time to ponder. Our waiter Ronny had good knowledge or the menu as was well attentive. We had a brilliant time with delicious food!"

"Came here for a concierge serviced anniversary meal with my partner and we were looked after as soon as we stepped foot through the door, we were welcomed to a temporary bar table for pre meal drinks and then transferred to a booth for our main meal, the drinks were very well presented and made with premium spirits, the food was also immaculately presented and of a very high quality with floor staff taking time to check everything was okay for my partner's allergies and intolerances, I cannkt stress how much the team went out of their way.. it was a costly experience as with the concierge fee applied we were capping out around £150 to £160 but for the care we received it was well worth it, would I consider doing again? Yea ofcourse.. definitely a pleasant experience."

My first stop was The Cut and Craft, a flat iron steak and craft beer restaurant. Richly designed inside with leather banquettes and a show stopping bar, the food was decadent - my partner enjoyed a gold steak (yes, a steak wrapped in gold leaf), while I tucked in to a perfectly cooked fish skewer. We ended the meal with a lemon tart which was the perfect mix of sweet and sharp.
