What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ming Wah is praised for its exceptional service, generous portions, and the overall value it offers. Diners often highlight the friendly and polite staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the delicious, freshly cooked Chinese cuisine. While many enjoy the unique specialty dishes, some find the pricing a bit high for the area, and a few reviews mention issues with blandness or cold food, particularly for takeaway orders.
"This place is definitely worth the money spent! The service is very good and the food is beautiful! I would most definitely return here again!"
Amy
"Generally fine food, well presented, a little pricey. We over-ordered on the rice by a long way. It would have been nice if the waiter had indicated this at the time of ordering. The satay sauce was tasty and slightly spicy, some of the best satay I’ve had. My egg fried rice was a little too sticky but still tasty. The ginger sauce with my chicken lacked flavour and punch. The restaurant had nice decor too. Unfortunately we were sitting near to a big pile of Just Eat boxes which maybe could have been kept at the back somewhere out of sight. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome."

"Had some good experiences eating in 2 months ago. Tried it for the 2nd time for takeaway. It was pretty bad and you can clearly tell it’s not the same quality. Meat didn’t taste fresh. Beef was super chewy and chicken was hard. I’ve had many Chinese takeaways and don’t tend to have high expectations, but this is surely not some of my likings."
