Reviews Summary

Diners consistently praise The Ginger Pig Kitchen for its exceptional food quality, particularly the Sunday roast and desserts, and its warm, friendly service. Many highlight the use of locally sourced ingredients and reasonable prices as major draws. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few minor critiques mention portion size for certain dishes or occasional unavailability of menu items.

"First time eating here and won’t be the last. Three course meal was delicious, the Sunday lunch was amazing. Dessert was crème brûlée with Cointreau and it was the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had. Staff were friendly and the service was great. I can see why booking is recommended. Definitely coming back."

"A lovely Friday night dinner!

The service was EXCELLENT. It was also lovely to have comfy restaurant seating for once.

The food was all lovely. Super fresh. It was nice to see some different takes on British classics. The sausages and bubble & squeak portion could have been a bit bigger though 👀 the sticky toffee pudding was delicious and clearly homemade, but the toffee sauce let it down. The homemade honeycomb was a delicious touch 😍

Highly recommend!"

The food was exceptionally amazing quality and all sourced locally including the drinks!

This place really is 11/10, one of if not the best restaurant in Weston! And all of this at an incredibly reasonable price not needing to break the bank!"

Shortlisted: 9 Weston-Super-Mare Restaurants That Locals Love

Named after co-owner James’ red hair and co-owner Dave’s nickname, “Piggy Dave” from his hog roast business days, The Ginger Pig Kitchen has become a destination restaurant serving brilliant modern British cuisine. This laid-back friendly restaurant is a chilled out place to dine, and quite a photogenic one too. Especially as the pig theme pops up every now and then, and the fact that as the day turns into night, LED lights are switched on changing the restaurant’s whole ambiance.

The attentive, friendly staff ensure guests feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit. I’m a few weeks late posting this, but we were visiting here from Swindon - admittedly, we usually go for a roast somewhere else but because their kitchen was closed, it opened us up to looking for somewhere new. As one of the group is coeliac, I had messaged about 9 different places and this was the first one to respond and on the same day.

Cornish Bakery review: ‘One of the best sausage rolls I’ve had’

It’s called the Ginger Pig Kitchen (no relation to the posh London butcher) and, to be fair, we had good burgers there (in the middle of a day-long drive from St Davids to Dartmouth).
