"We had a special birthday meal and overnight stay at The Litton for my Mum's 70 Birthday and it was fantastic. From the moment we booked it, all contact with the hotel was amazing and they were so helpful. I can't fault The team they were so attentive and looked after all 21 of us so well, we felt very special. The rooms were gorgeous and the food was lovely. I would 100% recommend. Our children also had the best time exploring their beautiful gardens and enjoying the countryside. A truly perfect place in a perfect setting. Thanks especially to Ollie and George for looking after us all so well, bit all of the staff were amazing. We will be back."

"Have not been here for years. Decided to go for lunch. The setting and staff were all 5* they have obviously spent a lot of money on this pub but the food let it down. The prices perfectly average. The pie, meat and gravy not very tasty and broccoli spears not cooked. Boiled pototo's were nice. I had chicken wrap which was OK, the coleslaw was nice but it was a warm day and it had not been chilled, nothing worse than warm slaw. Chips were nice. I don't think l will return it was disappointing. Serving staff excellent."

"Excellent evening meal. The food and the decor were first class - but the service was absolutely top notch. The waitresses were attentive and so so good - the best we've experienced in many years. Portions possibly over generous."
