Reviews Summary

Weavers Cottage Tea Garden is a highly-rated gem in Cockington Village, praised for its award-winning cream teas, delicious homemade food, and exceptionally friendly service. Visitors love the dog-friendly atmosphere and charming garden setting, making it a must-visit destination. While generally excellent, one diner noted a charge for plant milk with tea.

"What a beautifully situated and service place to eat. So dog friendly, including us buying out dog a "puppycino and biscuit", which she absolutely loved.

My wife and I had the ploughman's lunch, with a latte and elderflower bubbly. All so very reasonably priced and the staff were absolutely lovely, accommodating and very welcoming.

Honestly, if you are in the area and looking for somewhere to loose a day, have great food in a quintessential Devonian village, look not further!"

Steve Lee

"Don't know how anyone could give this place a lower rating.
It's right in the middle of the village, gorgeous garden and comfortable seating.
Menu is fantastic, well detailed and lots of choice.
Amazing crab sandwiches with salad and crisps for £12.95 (crab is pricey wherever you go).
Cream tea was delicious, you could have with or without tea, very fairly priced at £5 or £7.95 (i think?).
Service was excellent and prompt.
The whole restaurant is well looked after and bathrooms are fresh, new and clean.
Don't miss this gem!
There is Dolly, the sweetest deaf dog that just wants cuddles there too."

Jacqueline Glare

"Lovely place! Cream tea was delicious and our pup loved the doggy menu, friendly staff and really nice atmosphere! Will definitely come back on another trip :)
Very very reasonably priced too."
