"This restaurant is very modern and stylish. Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed outside, which didn’t seem like a great option on a sunny but very cold day. However, the outdoor heaters and well-arranged tables made our visit comfortable and enjoyable.
The food was excellent—especially the fish and chips, which were probably the best I’ve ever had. Simply delicious! I would definitely come back."

"We went on a quiet Thursday evening and had a memorable, happy time.
All the staff were attentive and interacted well w us and each other.
I wrote down their names but sadly that slip of paper got binned along with my usual collection of 'notes to act on', by Mr Tidy..

The building will one day be a classic, but is perhaps too 'open'.. some big, indoor plants may help? I expect it's quite noisy when there's a full house.

"The best fish & chips I have ever had. I have tried several times in different countries, at different restaurants, for cheap or expensive prices… I almost gave up, come to here cause my parents are interested in Fish & Chips. And then, we love it!
For the burger and today’s special, they are both tasty. Nice beer, warm survive and awesome view. Decently highly recommend this place."

With easy access by car but also by train to this harbour and seaside town, and a very accessible and wide promenade to meander along, there is plenty on offer for everyone including the independently owned Pier Point Restaurant and Bar. Positioned even closer to the sea wall than the Abbey Sands site, it has been feeding Torquay residents and visitors since 2006 and is well positioned next door to the Princess Theatre. Torquay is beautifully lit of an evening, and the outside of the restaurant certainly has some kerb appeal, although it’s name could be lit up to be more obvious so customers don’t pass this gem by.
