The portion size was really good too. Please give our compliments to the chef. And we look forward to going back there again soon."

"Stayed here overnight on a trip to Harper Adams University. Very welcoming staff, lovely clean room and delicious supper. Plenty of choice for breakfast, smashing full English. Overall, a great place to stay. Will book again."

"Had Sunday lunch today, the gravy was awful and poured all over my lunch, which then tainted everything on the plate with the overpowering flavour and smell of herbs, no resemblance to beef gravy at all. I didn’t complain as I was a guest in the lunch party and not paying the bill.
When the plates were collected I did make reference to the food being very bad in my opinion, hence why I had not eaten it, the bill was presented for 5 Sunday lunches, with an added surcharge of £13.10, “ optional” was written in pen, no reduction for the lunch I had not eaten and the cheek to ask for a tip. I requested the bill payer did not include a tip, as it seemed the waitress would speak to the manager, no apology for me not enjoying or eating my food or explanation was offered.
I will not be using The Queens at Horton again."
